WalkFit and CardioFit

A Class for All Fitness Levels


What does it take to keep fit and healthy when you have responsibilities on your shoulders and less time to focus onn yourself?  It takes support from peers and the commitment to show up and work hard.  Join my multi-level fitness class to get it done!

Cardiofit and Walkfit start back up on September 10th! Perfect for intermediate and beginner exercisers! 

Cardiofit covers all fitness abilities and levels! Do you prefer to keep exercising low-impact but need challenge? Or do you prefer to jumping and running? You’ll get both in this combination class! This early morning class will focus on building up your walking/running endurance and speed. With alternative start times, you can work your way up in time and distance. We’ll finish the second half of the class with strength training the entire body and stretching those hard-worked muscles.  In the event of bad weather, it will be more of a boot camp class, fitting cardio drills and strengthening drills all into 60 minutes (6 a.m. – 7 a.m.). 

Early morning classes – September 10-December 5 (break October 20-26)
Entire term is $280*or divided into 6-weeks is $190*
Tuesday and Thursday
Devonshire Lindo’s parking lot both days
Optional start times 5:30/5:45/6 a.m. to 7 a.m. (depending on how long you want to run or walk).

What you will need:
Exercise mat, a resistance band, hand weights, digital watch (or fitness tracker), reflective gear or light, and a water bottle 

Walkfit will keep everyone working to that next fitness level while staying low-impact. Along with cardio drills (sometimes challenging walks and other times we do low-impact cardio intervals (Tabitha or HIIT)), this class also works on strengthening the entire body. Not only will you improve your cardiovascular system, you’ll see changes in your musculature!

Evening classes- September 10- October 17 
 (Beyond that is TBD due to daylight)
6-weeks is $190*
Tuesday and Thursday 
Tuesdays – Botanical Gardens at 5:30 p.m.
Thursdays- NSC North track 5:20 p.m. 

What you will need:
Exercise mat, a resistance band, hand weights, digital watch (or fitness tracker), and a water bottle 

*no makeups for missed classes. Prorate for late registration only.
